We all love our pets, whether they are cuddly and furry, or spiny and unfriendly, and we all see them as part of the family (sometimes, the only family we have). Like any family member, pets need our attention, our interest, and our love, and there is no greater time for that love than when they get sick! Of course we'd all love it if that never happened, but it's a part of life that we may have to face at some point.

Amy is one of us who has had to face such a trying time (as mentioned above), and from her experience, she has developed the resolve to help others in similar situations. Thus was born Pet Health Focus; a network that I myself am a part of.

Built upon the extensible Ning platform, Pet Health Focus is a central location for pet owners to meet and share information and resources about how to keep their pets from falling into ill health, and the same for helping them when they do. What is most facinating, at least to me, is not so much the pool of assistance, but the fact that Pet Health Focus is full of exciting and humourous pictures and videos of various pets. From dogs to hedgehogs, many pets have become stars in their own right. This is one of the ways in which pet health Focus can be of great assistance to pets and their owners. It presents an opportunity to showcase talent, but also to memorize the moments that don't last forever, while a pet is in its best times.

Nothing is lost on being professional though. Even with all this entertainment, there is no shortage of useful links, blog posts, and forum discussions here. In fact, now that I've touched on that point, now is good time to mention the community spirit at work here. No network is really useful without it, and there is no lack of it here.

All in all, this is a beautiful network, built on standard (vanilla) code, and set to be one of the most popular in it's field of interest. Good work Amy!
